OUAT Farm Manager, Programme Assistant & Stenographer Eligibility Criteria
- Farm Manager: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or any other branch of Science/ Social Science relevant to agriculture or equivalent qualification from a recognized University. Desirable qualification includes a Master’s Degree in Agriculture or any other branch of Science/Social Science relevant to agriculture or equivalent qualification from a recognized University. Maximum age is 30 years as on the last date of application.
- Programme Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or any other branch of Science/Social Science relevant to agriculture or equivalent qualification from a recognized University. Desirable qualification includes a Master’s Degree in Agriculture or any other branch of Science/Social Science relevant to agriculture or equivalent qualification from a recognized University. Maximum age is 30 years as on the last date of application.
- Stenographer: 12th Class Pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Maximum age is 27 years as on the last date of application. Professional efficiency requires a dictation test in English, Hindi, or Odia at 80 wpm for 10 mins (25 marks), transcribed in 50 minutes on computer for English or 65 minutes for Hindi/Odia (25 marks).
- Age Relaxation: Age relaxation of 05 years in case of ST/ SC/ SEBC/ Women category candidates and 10 years for Person with Disability as per Rule/ Act. SEBC candidates must furnish a ‘Non-creamy layer certificate’ for the current years.
- Language Requirement: The candidate must have passed Odia as one of the subjects up to the 7th standard, and the certificate to this effect must be attached with the application.
OUAT Farm Manager, Programme Assistant & Stenographer Salary Details
- Farm Manager / Programme Assistant Scale of Pay: Rs. 35,400-1,12,400/- (7th Pay), PB-2, Pay- Rs. 9,300/- – 34,800/- Plus with GP Rs. 4,200/- (pre-revised Pay Band and Grade Pay in 6th CPC, or as prescribed by the Funding Agency from time to time).
- Stenographer Scale of Pay: Rs. 25,500-81,100/- (7th Pay), PB-1, Pay Rs. 5,200/- – 20,200/- Plus GP Rs. 2,400/- (pre-revised Pay Band and Grade Pay in 6th CPC or as prescribed by the Funding Agency from time to time).

Selection Process for OUAT Recruitment 2026
- Farm Manager and Program Assistant: The selection is based exclusively on the markings secured in the written test. The written test of 150 marks is conducted for a duration of 02 hours and consists of 150 multiple-choice questions from relevant topics (30 subject-neutral common questions about the job profile and 120 subject-specific questions).
- Stenographers: The selection includes a written test of 150 marks (each 50 marks from General English, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude) for the duration of 02 hours. Applicants shall be invited for the skill test with a ratio of 1:4 from the performance list drawn up taking into account the written test. The mark secured in the skill exam is added to the score achieved in the written test to prepare the final list of earnings.
- Minimum qualification grades for the written test: Unreserved (UR) – 50%; SEBC – 45%; ST / SC / PWD – 40%.

- The in all respects complete application form together with self-certified copies of all certificates, marking sheets of all passed exams should be sent to the Registrar, OUAT, Bhubaneswar-751 003 of Speed Post / Registered Post.
- The envelope containing the request should be marked “APPLICATION FOR POST OF ……… together with the notification number and date”.
- In-service candidates must apply through the correct channel and submit a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) from the employer within one month of the last application date.

Required Documents for OUAT Recruitment 2026
- Self-attested copies of all certificates and mark sheets from H.S.C. onwards.
- Original counterfoil of the application fee deposit receipt duly signed by the candidate.
- Certificate for passing Odia up to the 7th standard.
- Authenticate Caste Certificate from the competent authority (for ST/SC/SEBC/PWD/Other).
- Non-creamy layer certificate for current years (for SEBC candidates).
- Documentary proof in support of experience and academic qualifications.
- Two recent passport-size color photographs pasted on the application form.
Important instructions
- Applications received by due date and time are not considered, and the University is not liable for any losses or delays in postal transactions. Incomplete amendments are summarily rejected.
- Additional information and documents from Speed Post / Registered Post within the due date.
- The KVK employees are contract project employees until the financing of ICAR is 100% continued, are not entitled to final services and their service is co-terminated with the central project.
- At the time of his or her appointment, the applicant must work in the PVC for a minimum period of 01 (one) year and make a declaration of commitment; his resignation requires a (one) month prior notice or the deposit of a (one) month salary.
- The application fee is Rs. 500 / – for Farm Manager / Program Assistant and Rs. 300 / – for Stenographers (non-refundable).
